THIS CAUSED THE WATER LEVEL IN THE SUMP TO RISE 39 INCHES. THE WATER LEVEL IN THE TANK DID NOT RISE. THE ABSORBTION WAS MONITOREDS FOR THE NEXT 50 MINUTES. BY PLOTTING THE ABSORPTION RATE ON SEMI LOG PAPER IT WAS FOUND THAT THE 150 GALLONS WOULD BE ABSORBED IN 350 MINUTES. THIS SYSTEM MEETS THE CODE REQUIREMENTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANCHORAGE. THE TEST SHOWS IT CAN ABSORBE 620 GALLONS PER 24 HOURS. TEST FOR COLIFORMS: WATER WAS TESTED FOR COLIFORM BACTERIA ON FEBRUARY 5, 1986. TEST WAS NEGATIVE. TEST RESULT: THIS WELL MEETS THE PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANCHORAGE. THE WELL MUST BE SEALED AND THE WIRE PROTECTED BEFORE AN APPROVAL BE BE ISSUED. A WAIVER REQUEST HAS BEEN PREPARED FOR THE 100 FEET SEPARATION REQUIREMENT. The Municipal requirement for well flow is 150 gallons of water per bedroom per 24 hours.This well surpasses this requirement. The assessment of the condition of this well applies only to the conditions as of this date. State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation. This Memorandum outlines a procedure to be used in the evaluation of waiver requests by assigning number values to geological features addressed in the waiver request. Cast iron was used in the construction of the system. Septic tank has water tight couplings. Water sample taken during the operation of the system have not shown any contamination.
