The effective depth for the soil absorption field is 5 feet and length is 50 feet per the approved design. A three bedroom home with a detached one bedroom apartment are served by this wastewater system. The Department has reviewed the record drawings finding them in conformance with the approved construction plans for the onsite wastewater treatment system; therefore per Wastewater Regulations 18 AAC 72.240 final operational approval is issued. The completed "Certificate to Construct" for the wastewater system is enclosed. Please use the above plan tracking number with any correspondence regarding this system. This approval does not imply the granting of additional authorizations nor obligate any state, federal or local regulatory body to grant required authorizations. Any person who disagrees with this decision may request an adjudicatory hearing in accordance with 18 AAC 15.195- 18 AAC 15.340 or an informal review by the Division Director in accordance with 18 AAC 15.185. Informal review requests must be delivered to the Division Director, 555 Cordova Street, Anchorage, Alaska 99501, within 15 days of receiving the decision.
