It was not the developer's intent, nor was it my under- standing that community water would be provided. The nearest public water supply is a quarter of a mile from the project site, making water service costly to provide. A sewer trunk however is available immediately adjacent to the project and can be readily connected to.by persons occupying the subdivision. It is our opinion that adequate sanitary protection will be provided by utilizing community sewer but allowing individual water supplies of parcels within the subdivision. Toward that end, the owner has joined the L.I.D. scheduled for this area. We therefore respectfully request'that approval be granted, in accordance with Mr. Strickland's letter of September 26, 1973, without the requirement for community water.
