Weaver, Platting Officer Municipality of Anchorage 632 W. 6th Avenue Anchorage, Alaska 99501 Reference: Lot 3A, Block 1, Atilier Subdivision and Tract D3A, Hillside North Subdivision, Preliminary Plat Attached - Subsurface Conditions for On-site Water Wells and Soil Absorption Systems. Dear 3erry: The subsurface information on record for the neighboring properties, including Lot 3, Block 1, Atilier Subdivision, which is a part of this platting, indicates that the soils conditions in this area are consistent and suitable for on-site wastewater disposal systems. Ample water supply is found within depths of 100 feet, and static water levels can be expected within 50-feet depths. Attached is the information on record with Health and Human SerVices Department that we have used for this evaluation. This information is being transmitted for your review and records. In accordance with the well logs and testhole logs attached, the soils are predominantly sandy with various degrees of silt and some gravel within 15 feet of the ground surface. No bedrock has been encountered, and no shallow water conditions exist. I trust the above is sufficient for your present review and considerations.
