This wetland serves as critical wildlife and bird habitat. A channel of Furrow Creek flows through this property. - As stated in the AWMP, Planned Unit Development may occur on the "ridges of this wetland, leaving the major portions left undisturbed to protect open space, wildlife habitat, and drainage values." - Large lot-residential districts (R-6) are typically served by on-site septic systems.
