To Whom it may concern:
This is a request for an amended 4-foot waiver permit on the above referenced lot. Structurally the
existing septic trench will not impact the foundation system due to the depth and off -set distance
away from the soil bearing strata. The bottom of the new footing will be 5 feet below grade and the
top of the 1992 system is 4. 6 feet, thus the leach field will never impact the bearing of the bldg
footing. The granting of this waiver will not impact any of the neighboring systems or the two
existing systems. Also the footing is supported with helical piles at the intersection of the footing
and septic field.
We are also needing the waiver for the clean outs in the riding arena to be cut-off below grade for
protection from damage.

all standpipes.

from this department.

shall be either:

b. Covered, sealed, and heated to prevent freezing

To Whom it may concern:
This is a request for a septic permit on the above referenced lot due to a new barn being located on
top of the existing two leach fields. Currently the lot has two separate systems 2014 and 1992, see
the attached 50 scale site plan. We are proposing to decommission each trench just enough to stay
outside the building footprint with the two systems, see the 200 scale sheet for the trench
calculations. For a new secondary system, a site has been shown for a Cat II system with the
necessary 50 feet from the well and parallel to the contours. All of the neighboring septic systems
have an application of 0.6 or 0.45 GPD/SF therefore this new Cat 11 system has an application of
1.0 GPD/SF which is very conservative. _

Currently we don't have a building�but after the foundation is installed we will need a 8' waiver for
the 1992 system which will be less than 10 feet from the proposed new barn foundation.

Ref: Proposed Septic System for T12N, R3W, Section 22; Lot 32 South 1/2
To whom it may concern:
The proposed four (4) bedroom house is served by a private well and septic system. The septic system is in a
state of failure and needs to be upgraded. We are proposing to install the alternate site shown on the 1992 S&S
Engineering design drawing. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows:
1. SOILS: We are proposing to install the alternate site within the radii of the two S&S test holes. The testhole
locations are based, upon,the.1992 rS&S Engineering design drawing.
2. TRENCH)DtSIGN: See atta$&d design drawing for drainfield specifications'.
3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface waters within 100+ feet of the proposed septic system.
4. TOPOGRAPHY: As can be seen on the attached topography site plan, the average topography in the area
of the proposed drainfield is less than 5% running southeast to northwest. In short, there are no slope concerns.
I am unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems. If you

In conducting this evaluation, GEG, LtD, attempted to provide a thorough,
conscientious engineering analysis of the system in accordance with ADEC and MOA
DSD Guidelines & Regulations. The reported results described the performance of the
system under the conditions encountered at the time of the test, and separation
distances measured to readily identifiable features. The operationallife of all wells and
septic systems depend on the local soils condition, groundwater levels that may
fluctuate during the year, and the water usage of the family being served by the system
These conditions are outside the control of the evaluator of the system. Satisfactory test
results do not guarantee future performance of the system, nor do they guarantee that
there are no hidden defects or encroachments. GEG, LTD can therefore not provide
any warranty or future estimate of how long the system will continue to meet the
operational requirements of the ADEC or MOA DSD. The content of this report is for
the sole benefit of the owner listed above. Any reliance upon or use of this report by any

Ref: Waiver Request for Well on T12N, R3W, Sec22, Lot 32 S1/2 to Horse Run Area;
The existing 4 bedroom house is served by a private well and septic system. We request you
grant a 35 foot separation distance waiver from the well on the referenced property to the
properties horse run area. The following items are justification for the waiver:
• The horse run area is located downhill from the well and if there was any surface flow, it
would not travel towards the well head.
• The encroachment caused no negative impact on the aquifer (Nitrates were ND on 2/14/14).
Based upon the aforementioned facts, it appears that there is minimal risk associated with the
requested waiver.
