AN ENGINEER AT AECS SHOULD BE CONSULTED PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION, TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF INSPECTIONS THAT WILL BE REQUIRED AND TO EXPLAIN WHAT THESE INSPECTIONS WILL INVOLVE. 1.6 THE SEWER PIPES ARE GOING TO BE PLACED JUST BELOW GROUND _O~_ LEVEL. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN BUILDING THE HOUSE TO .~ ENSURE THAT THERE IS ADEQUATE FALL FROM THE HOUSE TO THE SEPTIC TANK AND FIELD. IF THIS IS NOT DONE, A LIFT STATION WILL REQUIRED TO PUMP EFFLUENT UP TO THE BED. (THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN DISCUSSED WITH THE OWNER, WHO WISHES TO AVOID A LIFT STATION.) 2.0 2.1 SEPTIC SYSTEM THE SEPTIC TANK SHALL BE A ~-APPROVED TWO-COMPARTMENT TANK, CONSTRUCTED OF 12-GAUGE STEEL WITH BITUMASTIC COATING, SET LEVEL ON UNDISTURBED SOIL, AND INSULATED WITH AN OVERLYING LAYER OF 2 INCH BURIAL TYPE POLYSTYRENE. 2.2 THE SEPTIC TANK SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 5 FEET FROM THE HOUSE FOUNDATION, AND A MINIMUM OF 5 FEET FROM THE ABSORPTION AREA. 1200 LUesl 33r~ Aucnu¢.
