This investigation was performed in accordance with your request of May 15, 1975, and those proce{ures outlined in a letter dated December 19, 1.974, by ~k. Rolf Struck!and of the Greater Anchorage Area Borough Department of Environmenmal Quality. A single test hole was put down within the I~t 3 area for the purpose of defining general subsurface soil conditions for the proposed sanitary syste~. Excavation was accomplished with a tractor-mounted backhoe and the test hole was extended to a total septh of 16.0 feet below ground surface. One sample was recovered form the test hole and retained for grain size analysis. The results of this sample are enclosed.
