Dear Mr. Trawver,
RE: PARKWAy ESTATES LID #41
dated June 15, 1972
Please refer to my letter dated May 1, 1971, explaining drainage
problems to my property. Also refer to a reply to this letter which Z
received from Mr. John Lee, G.A.A.B., dated May 13, 1971.
I have connected my sewage system to the borough sewer as suggested by
Mr. Lee and have restored surface drainage effected by ditches #2 and #3.
The blockage of ditch ~1, a drainage~ditch approximately 4 feet deep and
4 feet wide immediately adjacent the front (south) lot boundryof lots
1,2, and 3 of Block 1, MORTON ESTATES SUBDIVISZON, extending across the
street easement west of Lot 1 into the creek channel, which had been
constructed by the developer. The purpose of this ditch was t~fold:
(1) It provided surface drainage for my three lots and the remaining lots
in Block ~1, and (2) it provided subsurface drainage to initially lower
the water table to an acceptable level on lots of Block 1, MORTON ESTATES
SUBDZVIS~ON, as well as property located to the north. The blockage of
ditch ~1 by the sewer construction still remains a problem because of the
adverse effect it has on the water table on my property.
I would appreciate very much your restoring this drain system at this time.
Resp, ectfukly,
Dean R. Dewey
