Surface water was apparent around the test pit location and prevented making an actual perco- lation test due to the surface water running into the test hole. The actual test pit did not contain ground water at the time of the test?nd moistures of two samples were taken to demonstrate this. A soils log of the adjacent lot is enclosed for your in- formation.
