The length dimension is the length(in feet) of the trench or drainfield. The
depth of a trench er pit is the distance between the surface ef N~e ground and
the bettom of the excavation(in feet). There is no set width for trenches.
The gravel depth is the minimum depth ef gravel between the oukfa]l pipe and
the bottom of the excavation(in feet).

(1) I am familiar with the requirements fer on-site sewers and wells as
set forth by the Hunicipality of Anchorage.
(2) I will install the system in accordance with codes.
(3) I understand that ~he on-site sewer system may require enlargement if
the residence is remodeled to include more that 3 b/~rooms.

Dear Bob:
Please issue a holding tank permit for Lot 5 Block 2 Kramp
Subdivision. A sewer LID has been instituted for this area
with construction to be completed by 1984.
The water level on the lot has risen to the point that only a
bed could be installed. I feel that the added expense is not
warranted in light of the soon to be available public sewer.

Subject: Lot 5 Block 2 Kramp Subdivisien
A permit issued[ by this department for an individual well
and/or on-site sewer system has expired as of December 31,
1982.
Permits are issued on a calendar year basis, as stated on
the permit, by authority of Municipal Ordinance.
If you have drilled the well, a well log needs to be sent
to this department for documentation of the installaLion
date and to close the permit.
If a ]private engineer inspected the installation of the
on-site sewer system, please have them send us the. as-builts
for our files and documentation.
If there are any further questions, please call this office
at 264-4720.

The following waivers are granted for the horizontal separation distances
between private wells and public sewer lines and manholes. The waivers
are conditional on the fact that the sewer line and manholes be constructed
as dictated in your waiver request letter, same subject, dated December 8,
1983.
Lot 6, Block 3: Waive horizontal well to sewer line separation from 75 ft
50 ft. Waive the horizontal well to manhole separation
from 100 ft to 95 ft.
Lot 5, Block 3: Waive horizontal well sewer separation from 75 ft to 60 ft.
Waive the horizontal well to manhole separation from 100 ft
to 75 ft.
Lot 4, Block 3: Waive the horizontal well to manhole separation from 100 ft
to 95 ft.
Lot 5, Block 2: Waive the horizontal well to sewer. -line separation from
75 ft to 70 ft.
Lot 9, Block 2: Waive horizontal separation between well and sewer line from
75 ft to 34 ft. Waive horizontal separation between well
and manhole from 100 ft to 75 ft.
