new drainfield alternate site. We are aware that there is a main water line that is 20 feet off the
west property line in the road right of way. I am unaware of any adverse impacts this waiver

Ref: Proposed Septic Upgrade for Meadow Brook Subdivision; Lot 5, Block 2,
To whom it may concern:
The existing house is served by public water and a private septic system. A new 1250 gallon deep burial
septic tank was installed on 3/29/06. The homeovners would like to upgrade the septic system to
accommodate four (4) bedrooms. We are proposing to install a pump vault (after the septic tank) and a
deep trench drainfield. One test hole was excavated on the property. The drainfield will be designed
around the 30 foot radius of this test hole. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows:
1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the
percolation test results.
2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications.
3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface waters within 100 feet of the proposed septic system.
4. TOPOGRAPIIY: As can be seen on the attached design drawing the average topography below the
drainfield is a 1-5 percent slope running approximately east to west. In short there are no slope concerns.
We are unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.

The onsi-te disposal system consist of a 1000 gallon steel septic
tarn; with a log crib seepage pi.t. The septic tank vas 7_r,,,,t:-- 11 neper
on January 2'), 1984. The access pipes to the septic Lank and
seepage pit: are in'place with tight fitting caps, The system
serves a 3 bedroom home,
Test Proccedure ;
The system was riot in use at: the time of the adequacy test.
Six hundred l;allons of wager was Injected into the seepage
pit for each of the first three days of the test. Tire thirst
day was used as a presoak, because the system had not been used
for about one month. 'Elie water level in the seepage pi -1- was
monitored tthroughout the gest and returned to a constant level.
after the second and third clay. There was no surcharging of the
septic tank at any ti.me during the test. When the absorption rate
was plotted on logari_thie paper and the system capacity was determaned
to be approx:!.maLl.y 900 gallons per clay.
Conclusion;
Based on the test preformed this system is currently adequate to
handle the waste water disposal requirements at this site:.
