The receiving soils are a silty sand with a percolation rate of 6 minutes per inch, which allows a loading rate of 0.5 gpd/SF. For a 3 bedroom home, the bed size was calculated at (3 x 150)/0.5 = 900 SF of absorbtion area. The lot slopes from South to North at about 1% to 2%. The subdivision is served by a "Class A" Public Water System and therefore contamination of wells is remote.
