Subject: Lot 3, Lakeridge Terrace Subdivision - Tract lA
Dear Mr. Rennet:
This Department has made a physical examination of the subject lot, the following
of which were our observations and conclusions as such. First of all, however,
it should be noted that a plat submitted by the engineer on this project has in-
dicated those areas for which wells are to be located, seepage pits and drain
fields are to be located, as well as that area designated buildable area.
In this case, the designated buildable area appears to be the approximate lower
half of the lot outside the shoreline of Eower Fire Lake. The sewer systems are
shown placed in the upper half of the lot.
· At-this point, there is a sharp drop from the Old Gl~nn Highway to the subject
lot, as well as almost the entire subdivision. Direct access to the highway
from lot 3 appears, if not impossible, to be extremely impractical.
A roadway has been dozed along the Southeast lot line and a driveway is being
'constructed from the roadway towards the lake. A foundation area has also been
dug out and in the approximate area, between which has been designated a seepage
pit location and that area designated a drainfield location, was placed a hole
intended to be the location of the sewer system. At about 4 1/2' in this hole
is the water level.
It is this observer's opinion that because of the high water table, this lot, in
its natural state, is unsuitable for on-site sewage disposal.
Thank you very much for your cooperation in regards to this matter.
