The Environmental Services Division, On-Site Services Program, has reviewed the

Subdivision Review Application, Case #S- 10101
Dear Mr. Cross:
The proposed Subdivision consists of an 80 acre tract that is being split into 3 large lots. We have
performed test holes on each lot and found there to be a satisfactory area for leachfield disposal
on each lot. Proposed Lot 1 has excellent soil characteristics and many available leachfield sites.
The area chosen for the test hole on proposed lot 2 had a seasonal high water table of 5.0' which
would be adequate for a bed type or shallow trench drainfield. It was felt that if additional holes
where excavated on this large tract, in preparation for an actual home construction, a section of
land could be located with a lower water table. Lot 3 is steeply sloped and areas were explored at
25% slope that resulted in a satisfactory soil type. A topography map obtained from an overlay of
the municipal topographic data is attached
Well log data for the surrounding area, Sunny Valley and Mile Hi subdivisions are also attached.
Typical well data shows yield rates of 2-40 GPM from a bedrock type aquifer and depths of 71-
246 feet with an average depth of approximately 140'.
