The Owners will excavate, onstruct and connect Owner's property located at 4x30 Southpark Bluff Drive to the WWU sewer lateral located within the Southpark Bluff Drive dght-of-way, at Owner's sole cost and expense in accordance with AWWU stariclards, and subject to the normal connecti� n permitting and Inspection by AWWU; ` 2. Owner small reimburse AWWUi for any cost encumbered by AWWU and incident to Owner's construction and installation of the connection and service extension. Reimbursdment shall become due within 30 days after the date of connection of owner's properly to the AWWU sanitary sewer main; 3. Owner shall obtain all necessry permits to include right-of-way and easement permits, all building and construction permits, and utility connection permits, and pay all fees prior to any construction; 4. The extended connection constructed shall conform to AWWU design Criteria and Municipality of Anchorage Standard Specifications (MASS) as applicable, and the Uniform Plumbing Code. It shall include a pressurized service line with a minimum of 2 1 inches in diameter, and shall be inspected in accordance with permit requirements. 5. Upon completion of construction and connection to the sanitary sewer main, Owner will assume all liability for damage',caused by the extended service connection from the existing sewer lateral to the using facility and will assume all responsibility for maintenance and repair of the service connection from the existing sewer laterad to tile using !facility to include, but not be limited to the following: flushing of the service, rodding of the service, frost damage. and erosion or' damage caused, or cleanup required by sewage overflow and/or flusliinc�; � 6. Owner shall submit a drawing of the proposed service connection at the10 1 time of �onnecflon 1 permit application which will include but is not limited to the horizontal and vertical location of the service extension and appurtenances, mechanical pumping flow capacities,' pipe size, depth, and materials. Owner shall provide AWWU with an asbuilt drawing upon 6ompletion of construction; 7. In no event will Owner allow additional connections by other properties to such extended connection, 8. Owner agrees and covenants that upon a proposal for an improvement district which includes as benefited property the real property which is the subject matter of Owner's agreement, Owner will cooperate in the balloting of such district; "Cooperation" small be deemed to include the signing , f any necessary petitions or other documents in favor of file improvement district. The soils were tested on May 8, 1986. The test results indicated that the soils percolated at 23.5 min/inch. The water table was monitored for one week. There was no indication of water being within fourteen feet of the surface. Water levels were again checked on April 14, 1995 with no water being detected. No impacts to the surrounding properties are foreseen. Lots to tl~e South and West have on- site sewer systems. Lots to the North and East are yet undeveloped. Water is supplied to the lot via a community distribution system, located approximately 280 feet to the northeast A service line will supply water to the proposed four bedroom house along the western property line. The topography of Lot 41 is relatively flat were the system is being placed. The land to the south and east slopes up from the proposed septic system.
