The well on the subject property does not meet Municipal.
standards and must be upgraded before we can grant final
approval.
Specifications for the upgrade are as follows:
Well casing must be extended twelve (12) inches above
the natural ground surface and a pitless adapter
installed.
The present pit opening must then be backfilled around
the well casing with impermeable soil and landscaped
so that any surface water will run away from the well
casing.
This department will grant a temporary approval if funds
are escrowed to upgrade -the existing we].]_.
