Approval certificates based solely upon the representations given in paragraph 5 above by an independent professional
engineer registered in the State of Alaska. The DHEP does this as a courtesy to purchasers of homes and their lending
institutions in order to satisfy certain federal and state requirements. Employees of DHEP do not conduct inspections or
analyze data before a certificate is issued. The Municipality of Anchorage is not responsible for errors or omissions in the
professional engineer's work.

SUBJECT: Lot 1, Block 2, Springbrook Vista Subdivision.
Dear fqr. Bruckner:
The sewer system on ti~e subject lot was approved for two bedrooms based on
a standard log crib size of 8'xS'x6'. After conversing witt~ Nr. Richard
Berg of Berg Underground Construction, I have learned that tile crib was
installed to be a larger 8~xS'xg'. As an 8'xS'xS' crib would have been
adequate based on soil test performed by 0 and E Engineering and Develop-
ment Company of 225 scIft per bedroom, I will change the listing from
,552 sq ft of seepage area to 736 sq ft based on the 8~AS'xS'.
