In accordance with municapality records, sewer facilities consist of a 1,000 gallon septic tank and approximately 70 feet of tile drain field (trench). The system was charged by continuous flow through a water meter over a period of 24 hours on 5 - 6 December ~978. Percolation over this period resulted in the removal of approximately 597 gallons or 298.5 gallons per bedroom. The septic tank was also pumped. On the basis of the above survey and test, it can be concluded that the sew~ system (septic tank and absorption trench) is adequate.
