Project: Percolation Tests - Terrace on the Lake
Subdivision
Dear Mr. Nielsen:
Presented herein are the results of the percolation
tests performed on September l0 and ll, 1959 at the above
mentioned project site in accordance with the method pre-
scribed in "Minimom Property Standards, FHA No. 300". The
routine testing was performed by Arctic Alaska Testing
Laboratories.
In compliance with your instructions, five holes were
bored at the following random locations:
Hole i - Lot 2, Block 2, l0 feet south and l0 feet
west of the northeast corner
Hole 2 - Lot 8, Block 1, 30 feet south and 7 feet
west of the northeast corner
Hole 3, Lot 2, Block 3, 15 feet south and 30 feet
west of the northeast corner
Hole ~ - Lots 12 and 13, Block A, on property line
between lots 12 and 13, 30 feet from
east property line
Hole 5 - Lots 5 and 6, Block ~, on property line
between lots 5 and 6, 30 feet from east
property line
The soil encountered in each boring was a sandy sill
and in holes l, 2 and 5 a clean sand was intercepted at

the elevation of the water table. The following are the
results of the percolation tests:

* In borings 1, 2 and 5 the water table was intercepted, so
the hole was backfilled to the depth shown to run the
percolation t est.
