Dear Mr. Smith,
You informed us by telephone that dw~nB your site visit to the
referenced property on May 23, 1991, you found ~roundwat~r levels of 9
ft. and 6.5 ft. within test holes #I and #2 respectively. On May 28,
1991, we visited the site and found the s~e wat~ levels. Due to the
elevated groundwater level within test hole #2 we have redesiBned the
proposed leachfield making it shallow~ and long~. See sk~ehes
at~ached.
If you have any questions or require additional information to compl~e
your review, please co.act us.

Th~s is a rela~vely sm~ mountain-side property. The grade on the
north portion of the property ~ approximately 25% while the lot
steepen to the so~h to approximately 40% slope. Due to this grade we
are requesting a waiv~ to AMC 15.65.060 A-2a. Due to the spill-over
d~sign we have proposed, the good soils, and natural overburden layer,
we feel this waiver may be granted.
This is an area of t~m~ed development. We foresee no negative impa~t
on n~ighbo~ng properties by the i~st~ation of the proposed well and

S 3257 Keno Hills Addition No. 4
Public sewer and ~.~ater is not available. The soils conditions, the lot size,
and tile availability of adequate volumes of potable water in this area all
substantiate the development of ti]is addition at its present lot size and
pattern.
S 3255 Teri Subdivision, Tract A-1 - A-4
Public sewer and water is not available. Soils infon~lation and water avail-
ability data have been supplied from Teri Subdivision to the immediate south.
This infon;lation supplied some three to four months ago indicates thaC tilis
area is suitable for development.A~ tile present time, ti~e only possible
development in tilis area would be the 'lar~er. tract on '~he nortileast edge of
the subdivision. There is a no'&e on the ~¢-~Z~that the sl~aller half acre tract
will not be developed at the present time. Ti~is case meets with our Department's
approval.
S 3240 Resubdivision, Bernard Subdivision, Tract B.-1.

until tile acreage is furtiler split into lots at which time we '.,,,'ill require the

for on-site sewage disposal and the water informa'~ion, supplied from ti~e existing
wells in tile area, shows that there are adequate volumes of potable wager to
serve the lots iii this su'adivision. Tt~is ease meets wi~l) our iJepartment's approval,
28)
S 3232 Skyhill Subdivision

that the soils are adequate for on-site sewage disposal, the lot sizes are

to the i~nediate north and to the soutilwest si~ow tilat adequate volumes of potable
water are available for ind.ividual home development.
29)

(over)
30) S 3233 t~haley Subdivision, 4th Addition, Tract lA - lO
Public sewer and wa'ter are not available. The report by the engineer on this
