Below is a narrative of probable impacts to adjacent properties. 1. Adjacent Wells - There are no existing wells within 200 feet of the proposed new septic system. The proposed absorption field does not adversely impact other wells. 2. Adjacent Wastewater System - No systems exist within 200 feet of the proposed system. 3. Reserved Space - Adequate space remains within a 30 foot radius of the test holes immediately to the south of the proposed system. The reserve space can accommodate a bed 50 feet long and 24 feet wide. 4. Drainage - The proposed system is on a wide ridge, and drainage is towards the northeast, northwest, and southwest. No concentrated surface water will be directed toward the field and no existing streams are within 100 feet of the proposed field. The installation of this on-site system will have no probable impacts to adjacent well or septic systems. Most of the reserve space on the submitted design is within a 30 foot radius of testhole /i3, in which bedrock was encountered at a depth of 4 feet. The relatively shallow depth to bedrock could cause the cost of constructing an absorption field upgrade using the reserve space to be prohibitive. However, based on our surface and subsurface investigation of the site and the considerable size of the lot, we are certain that many potential sites for a sewer upgrade exist on the lot.
