The on-site sewer system has very little information known about it due to the age of the system predating inspection requirements. This department could evaluate the facility if specific engineering data is obtained thru testing. Specific data required is as follows: (1) An adequacy test on the absorption field to determine the actual ability of the sewer system disposal area. (2) Determination of the septic tank size and proof of proper baffel design. (3) Exact distances between the well and septic tank, absorption area. Attached is a post-earthquake study of the site. Information is limited, but of value in making the tests. This department will review and conm]ent on the data at your request. A listing of local firms currently conducting adequacy tests is enclosed. Les N. Buchholz, R.S.
