This showed the sewer system to be inadequate for a four(4) bedroom residence. This department will require the sewer system to be upgraded before approval is given for the individual sewer facilities. This upgrade would consist of adding a drainfield to the existing seepage pit. This drainfield would consist of a trench twenty-five(25) feet long, ten(10) feet deep with seven(7) feet of gravel backfill. A permit must be obtained from this department before any construction starts. This department will grant an interim approval of the sewer facilities if sufficient funds are escrowed to cover the cost of the.upgrade and any interim pumping of the septic tank that may be required. Please note, it is not signed "Approved". As I pointed out to you on Friday, this office does require ali bonaftde soil testers to be examined and licensed by tills office. Therefore, the soil test you performed for yourself is not recognized for computing absorption. The system may remain intact; however, this office will not guarantee that your system will function satisfactorily for any period of time, nor will we give loan approval in case of re-sale.
