4. From October 15 to April 15, a subsurface soil absorption system under construction during freezing weather
shall be either:
a. Opened and Closed on the same day, or
b. Covered, sealed, and heated to prevent freezing
Special Provisions:
1. The abandoned well is to be decommissioned prior to Inspection Report approval.
2. The separation from the well to the septic system on Lot 69 is to be verified. A waiver may be required prior to
Inspection Report approval.
3. If the new survey shows the well in the easement, letters of non-objection will be required.

Reference: Septic System Upgrade for T15N, R1 W, Section 18; Lot 68
To whom it may concern:
The 3 bedroom house on the referenced property is served by a private well/s and septic
system. Per MOA records, the septic system serving the subject property consists of a 1000
gallon steel septic tank and a seepage pit type drainfield. The septic tank was installed in 1975
and the seepage pit was installed sometime prior this. The system is currently in a state of
failure and needs to be upgrade. A test hole has been excavated on the property. We are
proposing that a new 2-compartment 1060 Infiltrator plastic septic tank and a new deep trench
type drainfield be installed. The proposed drainfield has been designed around the 30 foot
radius of this test hole. Comments regarding the septic design are summarized as follows:
1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring,
and the percolation test results.
2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications.
3. SURFACE WATERS: No surface waters were observed within 100 feet of the proposed
septic system.
4. TOPOGRAPHY: The general topography in this area is slope generally running from West to
east and the area where the proposed drainfield is to be installed is generally flat. There are no
steep slopes, cutbanks, ditchlines, etc., within 50 feet of the proposed drainfield. In short, there
are no slope concerns.

as-built inspection report must be sent to this office for
review, approval and documentation. All inspection reports
must be submitted within 30 days of construction completion.
When applying for a new permit, the fees are: $200.00 for an
on-site wastewater permit; $75.00 for a well permit and
$275.00 for a combined on-site wastewater and well permit.
