All construction shall be in accordance with:
1. The attached approved design.
2. All requirements specified in Anchorage Municipal code Chapters 15.55 and 15.65 and the State of Alaska
Wastewater Disposal Regulations (18AAC72) and Drinking Water Regulations (18AAC80)
3. The wastewater code requires inspections during the installation. The engineer shall notify the Development
Services Department per AMC 15.65. Provide notification by calling (907) 343-7904 (24/7).
4. From October 15 to April 15, a subsurface soil absorption system under construction during freezing weather
shall be either:
a. Opened and Closed on the same day, or
b. Covered, sealed, and heated to prevent freezing

Subject: New Septic System Permit T15NR1W Sec 18 Lot 184
The owner has requested we proceed forward to obtain a new septic system
permit for the subject lot. The proposed systems will serve a new 3-bedroom
residence.
The testhole was dug to a depth of 16 on April 22, 2024, is attached; no
groundwater was observed during the test nor after the 7-day monitoring
period. We propose a 1000-gallon HDPE tank with a 32 long by 2 wide trench
with 6 effective depth, a total depth of 10 maximum from original grade to
serve a total of 3 bedrooms. The existing trailer on the lot will be repurposed as a
storage shed and the existing septic system will be disconnected and abandoned
in place once the new residence is built.
The adjacent lots, with exception of the lot directly west and Lot 183A to the
northeast, are developed and are served by private wells and septics. There is no
surface water within 100' of the proposed tank and field. There are no wells
within 200 feet of the proposed septic site except as shown on the system design.
The new tank and field will be outside any protective well radii. We do not
expect there to be any adverse effect on adjacent lots by the development of this
