The monitor hole was drilled to a depth of 20 feet with a 6 inch solid flight auger. The location of the hole was as sho~ on the attached site sketch. At the end of 7 days water did not appear in the monitor hole. Further inquiry has revealed, that although the home in question has been vacant, substantial use of the water did occur during repairs of broken water pipes and subsequent cleanup work.
