Paddock: This is in regard to your request fo~ an inspection of the exlsttn~ private water and sewage systems located on the above listed property for the purpose of securing FHA approval. The water system cannot be approved because the unacceptable pump pit and the under- sized pressure tank do not meet ~equtred standards. This system can be re-inspected and approved sub]ent to the following modifications. 1. Addition of a "pitless adaptor" to your well. Relocation of you~ pemp and pressure system. A submersible pump is suggested. Installation of a pressure tank of at least 42 gallon capacity- (FHA requfrod minimum). Removal of existing pit c~ibbtng. Filling armular space between well casing and earth wall of well with cement grout to a depth of 10 feet. Backfilling well pit excavation, compacting and sloptn~ to drain.
