April 26, 1982 TO: To Whom It May Concern RE: Lot 5, Block 1, Greenbrook Subdivisipn, Soils Tests In Harch, 1981, Alaska Testlab drilled a 15 foot test hole on Lot S, Block 1, Greenbrook Subdivision. The free water level was measured at between 7.25 and 7.8 feet below ground level and perculation Rot tests were The site was examined for probable cause of the high ground water level by Mr. Donald Coffee, a hydroph0nic engineer with Stang Hydro~ nics of Tacoma, Washington, and it was determined to be surface water from ~e higher elevations and adjacent subdivision to the East. In September, 1981, a diversionary ditch was constructed along the property line between lots 5 and 6and then curving to the South to intercept the flow. An immediate improvement in surface conditions was noted. In April, 1982, the lot was reexamined by a representative of Tryck, Nymm~ and Hayes and surface water was nearly non-existant. Alaska Testlab was asked to again measure thewa~yea~%-ev~I'[ah-3; on April 20, 1982, it was determined to be 10.8 feet below the ground surface, an improvement of three or more f~et.
