The test holes were drill~ on November 27, 1981, using a Nodwell mounted MObile ~61 drill fitted with a solid flight auger. The drill rig is owned and operated by Denali Drilling, Inc. The/~st holes were logged by Denali Drilling personnel; /~ples were obtained at five foot intervals in each test/hole and were sealed in plastic bags and forwarded to Ala~a Testlab for identifi- cation. / On November 30, 1981, both te~ holes were checked by Mr. David Paul of Alaska Testlab/ The test hole on lot 3, Block ~, (Te~t hole ~2~ w~s fzlle~ wz=n groundwat.= an= a perco- lation tes~ could not be p~rformed. It is recommened that further subsurface investigation be performed on this lot, due to the subsurface groundwater conditions. A percolation test was ~erformed on Lot 2, B!oc~ 3] (Test Hole ~1) by~~ t~6" diameter test hole w~water an~ allowzng it -~o saturate ~or 24 hours. The tollow~n~ day, /~ the hole was re~zlled with water, and the evaluation o~ .~water in the hole was measured in !0 mlnute ~.ntervals for ~a ~ ]/~O~% hour period.
