The existing 1982 steel septic tank is compromised and must be replaced. We are proposing to decommission the existing septic tank per UPC and install a new 1060-gallon HDPE septic tank. The existing well on Lot 12 was previously classified as a Class A well, however, per ADEC correspondence (attached), the well was reclassified to a Class C/Private well in 1997. In short, the well on Lot 12 is believed to have a 100-foot protective well radius and it is our understanding that a waiver does not need to be applied for.
