Currently, the three bedroom trailer located on the lot line of 16A and 16B is served by a private well located on lot 16B, this well also serves the two bedroom residence located on. lot 16B. The present owners of lot 16A, Shawn and Ryan Stencils, plan to construct a new three bedroom private residence. This new house will be served by a proposed new well and a new septic system as shown in our site plan. The existing 1500 gallon concrete tank and the leach field will be abandoned in accordance with MOA requirements. The proposed water and septic system should have little or no affect on adjacent systems. The neighboring septic systems are over 100 feet from the proposed drain-field. The resetwe space is adequate based on our test hole results. The drain-field and the septic tank will be mounded, top soiled and seeded to provide positive drainage away from the syste~n. OF CHECKED DY DATE-- SCALE SYSTEM DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS LOT 16A BOYLE SUBDIVISION ON-SITE SEWER SYSTEM DESIGN 1. This design is for a three-bedroom single family residence using an absorption bed uAth 0.5 feet of gravel and gravity distribution. 2. The soils loading rate is 0.8 gallons/SF/day, 3 bedrooms X 150 gpd/0.8gPd/SF=563 SF absorption area required, 563SF/13SF/LF=37.5 feet, 40 LF long bed required. 3. All materials, construction methods and required inspections should comply with MOA rules and State of Alaska D.E.C. regulations. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and for notifying the engineer and the MOA at least twenty-four hours in advance for all inspections required. 4. The contractor will insure that no additions or changes have been made to the well and septic systems on the adjacent lots prior to the time of construction of this system. If any changes to those systems have occurred, the engineer should be immediately be notified for review and possible changes as necessary. 5. The overburden will be removed under the bed area. 6. The lot slopes down to the north and west. The installation of the bed will have little or no effect on the surface drainage, ground water, or the adjacent systems in the area. 7. The septic system should be properly maintained including septic tank inspection and pumping on an annual basis. 9.
