We are proposing to install a 1250 gallon septic tank and dual 5 -wide trench type drainfields. One test hole was excavated on the property. The drainfield will be designed around the 30 foot radii of GEG test hole #5 and will require an additional confirmation test to be dug and perked prior to installation. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached log which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. 2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: Sec attached design drawing for drainfield specifications. 3. SURFACE WATERS: There is a stream approximately 100 feet east from the proposed drainfield. 4. TOPOGRAPHY: As can be seen on the attached design drawing the average topography below the drainfield is a 10-15 percent slope running approximately north to south. Engineer's Comments: In conducting this evaluation, GEG, LED. attempted to provide a thorough, conscientious engineering analysis of the system in accordance with ADEC and MOA DSD Guidelines & Regulations. The reported results described the performance of the system under the conditions encountered at the time of the test, and separation distances measured to readily identifiable features. The operational life of all wells and septic systems depend on the local soils condition, groundwater levels that may fluctuate during the year, and the water usage of the family being served by the system. These conditions are outside the control of the evaluator of the system. Satisfactory fest results do not guarantee future performance of the system, nor do they guarantee that there are no hidden detects or encroachments.
