The owner has also requested upgrading to a 4 bedroom system. Therefore two test holes were completed with both of the test holes soils consisting of silty gravel (GM) with some sand, for the entire 18 foot hole depth. The perc tests were 20 & 24 minutes per inch. No water was observed during the excavation or after the 7 day monitoring. The trenches are perpendicular to the slope of the lot. The old tank will be pumped and crushed per the MOA codes. All of the north neighboring lots are services by a community well located about 400 feet away. There is neither surface water within 100 feet nor any known curtain drains within 50 feet of the proposed system. None of this development will have any adverse effect on the adjacent lots. The reported results described the performance of the system under the conditions encountered at the time of the test, and separation distances measured to readily identifiable features. The operational life of all wells and septic systems depend on the local soils condition, groundwater levels that may fluctuate during the year, and the water usage of the family being served by the system. These conditions are outside the control of the evaluator of the system. Satisfactory test results do not guarantee future performance of the system, nor do they guarantee that there are no hidden defects or encroachments.
