No on-site system currently exists, this is an undeveloped lot. The existing systems on surrounding lots appear to be performing adequately. The percolation rate is 1 minute per inch. A filter will likely be required. A sieve analysis is attached of a grab sample taken from the percolation test elevation from monitoring tube two. There are two properties that the owner plans on combining in order to provide for necessary septic area. The site has a creek bounding the north side of the property. The creek appears to be skewed within the creek easement towards these properties, and in one section is outside of the easement. Because of the creek location and the small size of these lots, it would appear that it is necessary to combine the lots in order to provide for both a primary and secondary drain system. In addition it would appear beneficial to extend the east drain system within several feet of the street side property line. As this area is mostly already developed, no impacts to the surrounding properties are foreseen. A review of the DHHS microfiche provided no significant information regarding septic systems in the vicinity. The topography is sloping towards the creek (North) at about a 1% to 2% slope to within about 10' of the creek at which point the ground slopes at about a 10% slope.
