Box 196650 SEWER&WATER g� Anchora e AK. 99519 MAIN IXTENSIONS REFERENCE: Lot 7, Block 11, Preuss Subdivision 413 SEWER&WATER INSPECTION It is requested that you issue a permit to upgrade a septic system to serve the existing three bedroom dwelling on the referenced property. A 5 foot waiver from the proposed septic system to the east property line is also requested. ENGINEERINGSTUDIES ANDREPORTS A test hole was excavated and a percolation test performed on 6/22/01. The approximate location of the test hole is located on the attached site plan. Ground water was monitored and after seven days water was found at 13.5 feet as shown on the attached soils logs. WELCTION This design is based on the high ground water (7.8 feet) found 5/17/93 while designing the OWTESTEST 8 FLOW system currently in use. We do not anticipate any adverse effects on neighboring wells, septic systems, reserve SITE PLANS areas or drainage patterns by the installation of the proposed septic system. I felt justified to push for UV protection because the manufacturer of the installed insulation requires it. Dave Mero and I came to agreement that one of the roofing products might be a way to achieve that. It appears from the photos that the coating does provide some level of UV protection, and that it's adhering well without causing any significant degradation to the insulation.
