I mailed the drilling log to the Municipality several months ago, but it was addressed to the 825 L Street location, as that was the address shown on the well log that was provided to me by Alpine Drilling. Enclosed is another copy ofthe well log for your records. By copy ofthis letter to JeffGarness at Alaska Wastewater Consultants, I request that his office forward lhe as-built inspection and any other necessary documentation to you as soon as possible to meet the October 19, 2001 deadline. Two test holes were excavated on the property by Stanley Brust on 9/18/91. The proposed septic system will be designed within the 30 foot radius of test hole #1. We are proposing that a 1250 gallon septic tank and a deep trench type drainfield be installed. Comments regarding the proposed design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. 2. TRENCII DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 1.4 & 2.0 minutes/inch b. TOPOGRAPIIY: As can be seen on the attached topography site plan, the average topography of this property is a 10 to 20 percent running from approximately southeast to northwest; in short, there are no slope concerns. The trench is to be installed parallel to slope contours. I am unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.
