The edited and drafted test hole log indicated a ground water table at 16 feet below grade while the attached letter noted that no ground water was encountered. Per our phone conversation on May 3, 1977, I am attaching a copy of the original field log which verifies that ground water was encountered at 16 feet while drilling. September 10, 1975 No. 562114 Mr. Terry Petruska 3055 Lois Drive Anchorage, Alaska RE: Test Mole and Soil Log Report for Sanitary System Lot 4, Block 11, Elmore Subdivision Dear Mr. Petruska: We are submitting herewith the test boring results and our comments regard- ing soil conditions encountered at the subject site. This investigation was performed in accordance with your request of September 4, 1975, and those procedures outlined in a letter dated July 15, 1975, by Mr. Roll Strick- land of the Greater Anchorage Area Borough Department of Environmental Quality. A single test hole was put d~wn within the Lot 4 area for the purpose of defining general subsurface soil conditions for the proposed sanitary sys- tem. Excavation was accomplished with an auger type drilling rig and the test hole was extended to a total depth of.q~ _~. ground surface.
