This investi- gation was performed in accordance with your request of June 4, 1975, and those procedures outlined in a letter dated Decer~ber 19, 1974, by Mr. Rolf Striekland of the Greater Anchorage Area Borough of Environ- mental Quality. A single test hole was put down within the Lot 7 area for the purpose of defining general subsurface soil conditions for the proposed sanitary system. Excavation was accomplished with a tractor-mounted backhoe and the test hole was extended to a total depth of 14.0 feet below ground surface. One sample was recovered from the test hole and retained for grain size analysis. The results of this sample are enclosed. The final log prepared for the 'test hole has been included in Drawing A-01. Groundwater was not encountered in the test hole. We appreciate being given this opportunity to be of service to you.
