Dear sirs,
This concerns the possibility or receiving on-site well and
septic permits from the MunlcipalRy for Lot 10, Block 5, Sand
l,ake #2, located on Sea¢lfff Street. I have plcked up the Information
packets provlded by your department at the Bragaw St. offices and
examined them.
I am attaching a map showing the lot in question outltned In
red. The map shows virtually the entire lot shadowed by lO0-foot
radii from existing wells. (The proposed well on LOt 11 has been
approved..~od brought Into operation since the map was made.)
These radii suggest that, under normal procedures, with a well set on
the west edge of Lot 10, there would be no space on the lot for a
septic tank or absorption field.
I have two questions: First, under what circumstances mlght
you grant a waiver to permit a septic tankJabsorptlon field In the
south-east portion of Lot 107 (Assuming that perc tesLs and other
qualifications are met.)
Second, without Municipal water and sewer service or a septic
system, is there any other approved system for dealing with
wastewater to accommodate a dwelling?
Before spending money on perc tests or fees for permits which
would most likely be denied, Iwould like to have a better
understanding of the options. Please reply at your earliest
opportunity. Thank you.
Sincerely,
18 I
