Re: Proposed Septic for DeArmoun Sub'd #2, Block 2, Lot 4
To whom it may concern,
Attached is a submittal for a septic upgrade at the referenced property.The property is currently served
by a community well and private septic system consisting of a 1,000-gallon septic tank and a trench type
drain field.The septic system is failing and requires upgrades. The new septic system will consist of a
new 1,000-gallon septic tank and trench type drainfield to service an existing 2-bedroom residence.
Following is a summary of site characteristics and basis of design:
1. Soils: See the attached soils log for complete soil profile and classifications(primarily GM-SM),
percolation test results (6-minutes per inch), and ground water monitoring (no water
encountered at time of excavation,ground water measured at 15-feet below ground surface on
May 30`h, 2018).
2. Surface Waters: No surface waters exist within 100+feet of the property and proposed septic
area.
3. Topography:The site is flat with no general slope.
4. Community Well: the property is serviced by a community well with a 200' separation. No parts
of the septic system are within the 200' well radius and the well head is at a higher elevation
than the subject property.
5. Adjacent Properties: Septic areas on adjacent properties are located on the attached site plan.
We are unaware that the proposed septic system will have adverse effects on adjacent septic
systems or wells.
