Subject: Septic Tank Upgrade — Eagle Park B1, L14
Due to site constraints, the new 1250 -gallon tank was reinstalled in the same
location as the previous tank. The silty sand and gravel insitu material provides
good compaction and stability and there have be no known foundation issues for
over 26 years with the tank being in this location. Deck supports are 3.5'+ away
from the tank. We do not expect there to be any adverse effect on the foundation
or deck by the location of this tank. If you have any questions, please contact me

Subject: Emergency Septic Tank Upgrade Permit—Eagle Park B1, L14
The owner has requested we proceed forward to obtain a septic permit to
upgrade the failed septic tank. Per owner, he has dug up the post tank line to the
tank and it is broken, rotted out and leaking and has requested an expedited
permit.
We propose to decommission the existing 1000-gallon & 500-gallon septic tanks
per code and install a new 1250-gallon tank past the driveway to serve the
existing 4-bedroom house.
The adjacent lots are served by private water. There is no surface water within
100' of the proposed tank. We do not expect there to be any adverse effect on
adjacent lots by the development of this tank. If you have any questions, please

REFERENCE: Eagle Park Subdivision, Block 1, Lot 14
Request you issue a permit to upgrade the septic system
serving the referenced property.
An adequacy test was performed on the existing system and the
absorption capacity of the existing trench was found to be
inadequate.
Two test holes were excavated and a percolation test performed
in the area of the proposed upgrade. The ground water
monitoring tubes within the holes have been checked and found
to be dry. Attached is an upgrade design which shows the
location of the proposed trehches and an alternate site.
We do not anticipate any adverse effects on neighboring
properties by the installation of the proposed septic upgrade.
