B)A Bull Run Diverter valve shall be placed between the septic tank and the existing seepage pit. A new 4 inch line will run under lhe driveway to the replacement trench. This line will be insulated. C) A replacement Absorption Trench 5' x 56.5'x 8.0' deep with 4.0 ' of sewer rock beneath the Perfpipe shall be constructed. 1.1 Construction shall be in accordance with: the approved site plan and design drawings and specifications, Municipality &Anchorage permit with any special provisions or conditions. Deviations from the approved design drawings shall be coordinated and approved by the engineer conducting the inspections. 1.2 All construction procedures and material used to construct the system shall comply with Municipal and State Rel,mlations. 1.3 The homeowner shall be responsible for finish grading and seeding disturbed areas after the system is constructed and soil is compacted and mounded over the absorption trench. 2.0 DISPOSAL FIELD 2.0 The subsurface disposal field shall consist ora wide trench, 56.5 feet long, 5.0 feet wide and 8.0' deep with 4.0' &sewer rock beneath the perforated pipe (the effective depth ofthe trench). The trench shall be excavated 8.0 feet deep from existing ground surface. 2.1 Sewer rock shall be 0.5 - 2.5" screened gravel with less than 3 % passing the #200 sieve. 2.2 Cleanout pipes and monitor tubes shall be 4" diameter and installed as shown on the plan. The portion of the monitor tube extending through the sewer rock shall b perforated. All monitor tubes and cleanout pipes shall have waterproof caps conforming to Municipality of anchorage Specifications. 2.3 Filter fabric shall be placed over the sewer rock, and then 2 inch "blue board" direct burial insulation will be placed over the filter fabric. A minimum of 2 feet of unclassified backfill shall cover the insulation. 3.0 ENGINEERING INSPECTIONS 3.0 A minimum of'four engineering inspections will be required during construction of the system. One after the septic tank is exposed, one after excavation of the trench prior to placement of'sewer rock, one after placement of sewer rock and all distribution piping, cleanouts and monitoring tubes are in place. The final inspection shall be after the filter fabric is placed , the trench backfilled and the final grading is complete. 3.1 The contractor shall coordinate with the engineer at least 24 hours prior to start oF construction. PROBABLE IMPACTS TO ADJACENT PROPERTIES A) WELLS The proposed wastewater disposal system is designed in accordance with current Municipal Wastewater Disposal Regulations. The proposed 5' 8' deep x 62.5' long Absorption Trench is greater than 100 ft. from wells on this and surrounding lots. Therefore, there should be no adverse impacts on wells from this system. The construction of absorption system will not preclude construction ofsystems on adjoining lots. B) WASTEWATER. SYSTEMS The system is designed in accordance with current Municipal Regulations, and construction will comply with current regulations. There should be no adverse impact of adjacent disposal systems. C) RESERVED SPACE/SURFACE AND SUBSURFACE There is adequate space on the lot for a replacement disposal system, and still maintain the protective radiuses around wells. The placement ofthe septic system on this lot should not preclude building replacement systems on adjacent lots. D) DRAINAGE The topography on this lot and the surrounding lots is sloping varying from level tol 5 %. The area disturbed during construction of the system will be graded to prevent ponding of water. Construction of this system should not adversely affect drainage.
