RE: SEPTIC SYSTEM UPGRADE PERMIT
LEGAL: GREENLAND BLOCK 2, LOT 6
The property owner has requested we obtain a permit to upgrade the failed septic system of the
above referenced lot. We propose to install one pressurized shallow trench and 1250-gallon
STEP septic tank to serve the existing 3-bedroom residence. The existing absorption trench is
encroaching groundwater and will be abandoned in place. The design is based on the recent test
hole conducted on June 28, 2024. Groundwater was observed at test hole excavation at 10’ and
at 9.3’ at monitoring.
The slopes are moderate and flat at 0-2% at the proposed upgrade location. The lot and area are
served by private water. The design will not impact any of the neighboring properties. Please
