The well is to be drilled in the area shown on the attached site plan and design drawings. Two test holes were excavated in the area of the proposed septic system. The septic system will be designed around the 30 foot radius of test hole #2. We are proposing that a 1250 gallon septic tank and five foot wide drainfields be installed. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: <I minutes/inch b. Proposed Application Rate: 1.0 gallons/day/ft c. Number of Bedrooms: 4 d. Design Flow: 600 gallons per day 2 e. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface waters within 100 feet of the proposed septic system. 4. TOPOGRAPItY: The area for the proposed septic system is a 10 to 18 percent slope running from approximately southeast to northwest. In short, there are no slope concerns.
