The t~vo perc holes was completed along the west property line with silty gravels for the full 18 foot depth. A total depth of 18 feet was excavated with no water observed during excavation or after the 7day monitoring period. The perc was 22 minute per inch with tight sandy silts for the complete depth. The new deep trench will be I0 feet of septic rock and 90 foot length for a 7 bedroom system. All the ground slopes to the north as the plan shows at 3 to 5 percent. This new system will not affect the future development of the neighboring properties or shadow out any neighboring septic replacement areas due to the new well radius. We are requesting that your department waive the required separation distance from drainfield to property line of 10 feet down to 6 feet (drainfield width = 2 feet). Justifications for granting this waiver are summarized as follows: • The encroachment has existed from approximately 14 years (since 2003). • The neighboring lot to west (Timberlane Park #1; Block 1, Lot 14) is unaffected by this waiver, given that the drainfield on lot 14 is greater than 19 feet from the lot line.
