Reft Proposed Septic System Design for Lot 14, Block 5, Knik View Estates Subdivision
To whom it may concern:
The proposed 3 bedroom house will be served by a community water system and a private septic
system. Two test holes were excavated in the area of the proposed septic system. The septic
system will be designed around the 30 foot radii of these test holes, We are proposing that a 1000
gallon septle tank and a five foot wide drainfield be installed. Comments regarding the design are
summarized as follows:
1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring,
and the percolation test results. The natural sandy insitu soils should act as a sand filter.
2. TRENCH DESIGN:

4. TOPOGRAPHY: The area for the proposed scptic system is a 1%-5% slopcd running
approximately southwcst to northeast; in short, there are no slope conccms.
We are unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic

Engineer's Comments: This investigation was completed in compliance with ADEC and MOA regulations. The assessment of the condition
of the well and septic applies only to the conditions as of the day tested. The flow and absorption rates may change due to subsurface
conditions that may not be observed from the surface, changes inland use, local soil characteristics, groundwater levels that may fluctuate
during the year and the water usage of the family being served by the system. The operational life of all well and septic systems are
subject to these various and dynamic characteristics and are outside the control of the
evaluator of the well and septic system. Therefore,

system will function satisfactory for current or future
