The existing 3 bedroom house is served by a private well and septic system. The property owner would
like to upgrade his septic tank. We are proposing to remove the existing tank and replace it with a new
1000 gallon septic tank.
We are unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.

Re: Test Hole and Soil Log Report for Sanitary System, Lot 128, Section
8, T15N, R1W, S.M., Alaska
Dear Mr. Lattery:
We are submitting herewith the test boring results and our comments
regarding soil conditions encountered at the subject site. This investi-
gation was performed in accordance with your request of February 28,
1977 and those procedures outlined in a letter dated July 15, 1975, by
Mr. Rolf Strickland of the Municipality of Anchorage Department of
Environmental Quality.
A single test pit was excavated within the subject site area for the
purpose of defining general subsurface soil conditions for the proposed
sanitary system. Excavation was accomplished with a tractor-mounted
backhoe and the test; pit was extended to a total depth of 13.5 feet
below ground surface. The final log prepared for the test hole has been
included in Drawing A-01.
Groundwater was encountered in the test hole at a depth of 13 feet; while
excavating.

Comments: This investigation was completed in compliance with MOA guidelines, regulations,

applies only to the conditions as of the day tested. The flow and absorption rates may change
due to subsurface conditions that may not be observed from the surface, changes in land use,
local soil characteristics, groundwater levels that may fluctuate during the year, quality of
