The septic tank was pumped and verified to have a capacity of 1000 gallons. The crib was then recharged with 1000 gallons of fresh water and after a period of 24 hours 117 gallons had percolated out of the crib. It can be Concluded from t~is test that the septic tank is adequate..for the three bedroom residence located on this property..However, I regret to inform you that the seepage pit is adequate for less than one bedroom. It will be necessary for you to have the system upgraded.
