The proposed systems will serve an existing three bedroom (3) bedroom house. Currently the lot is developed, The existing drain field is in failure and will be abandoned per code. This lot and the surrounding lots are served by private wells. Required separation distances towells will be maintained. I. Soils. One test hole was performed on this lot by FES in October of 2018, and groundwater was monitored for at least seven days. Ground water was not observed to a depth of 16' below the surface inthe test hole monitor tube after the 7day monitoring period. Bedrock was not encountered in the test hole. Based on the results of the percolation tests and overall soils appearance; an application rate of1.2gaUons/clav/squarefeet was used fora conventional wastewater system in the area ofthe test hole. 2, Soil Absorption System Qesign, a. See Sheet I of the design package. 3. Surface Water: There isnosurface water within 1OOfeet ofthe proposed septic tank and drain field. The proposed drain field upgrade will maintain at least 100 feet from all surface water and drainage ditches. 4. Topography: The existing topography generally slopes from the east to the west in the area surrounding the septic system atapproximately Z% -]Y6. There i5aslope tothe west that exceeds 5O%.
